As suggested by the Isetan Mitsukoshi Group’s raison d'être (mission) of “Touching people’s hearts with human-driven experiences,” people are what we value most, and the capabilities of each and every employee of the Group are an asset to us. In order to maximize the capabilities of our employees and realize our vision, it is essential to create a workplace environment where employees can work with peace of mind. To achieve this, we are focusing on the challenges of proper working hour management and zero harassment.
To further promote these initiatives, in June 2022, the Company and the Group’s labor union issued a joint declaration. This declaration provides specific action guidelines for both proper working hour management and zero harassment, respectively. In addition to the joint declaration by labor and management, we also aim to create a workplace environment where employees can work with peace of mind by displaying posters to raise awareness of proper working hour management, and conducting e-learning sessions (three sessions) for all officers and employees.
